As trump did almost everything by executive order, therefore almost everything could be undone the same way. Executive orders carry some weight while a president is in office, but are relatively easy to undo when the next president takes over. And a lot of what Biden has done is to undo what Trump wrought. The emergency at the border to get around Congress and build a border wall has been un-declared. The decision to remove the US from the massive global climate pact has been reversed. The ban on transgender Americans serving in the military has been lifted. Bozo took 4 years for his, Biden undid most of them through his executive orders inside a month! Trumps destructive legacy? Poof! Mostly gone! So far, Biden has signed more than 50 executive actions, 22 of which are direct reversals of Trump’s policies. Most of these actions have addressed the novel coronavirus, immigration and equity. Biden defends the number of executive actions he has issued as necessary to undo what he considers “bad policy” inherited from Trump, especially on immigration. To date, nine of his 11 actions regarding immigration are reversals of Trump’s policies. The president said, “And I want to make it clear — there’s a lot of talk, with good reason, about the number of executive orders that I have signed — I’m not making new law; I’m eliminating bad policy,” Personally, I am happy to turn on the news in the morning and NOT see an Orange Maniac stirring shit between Americans and tearing apart our relationships with our world allies. Bozo is not running his lying shtick on Twitter and the new administration is beginning to recreate a functional government and really address the pandemic here. The new AG will be confirmed soon, in spite of republiturds stalling at every opportunity, and then you’ll see some real justice, in action! I guarantee it will happen. Now if we can re-educate about 40+ million to believe in democracy instead of Fascism we may get our country out of the tremendous hole the bozo circus drove us into.
