Discover the great outdoors around Historic Ramsey House! Discover the great outdoors around Historic Ramsey House and learn some of the natural history of the plants, trees, and wildlife found on the property. Come learn what birds are found in the area and how to identify them by sight and sound. This is a great opportunity to learn what surrounds us all of the time from Stephanie Mueller, a park ranger at Seven Islands State Birding Park. Class fee is $5.00 per person (plus service fees). Cash and check payment options available. All proceeds go directly to the ongoing maintenence and preservation of the Historic Ramsey House and grounds. We thank you for your support! What to Wear Please wear clothes and shoes that are sturdy enough to walk through brush, and can get wet or muddy. About Your Guide Stephanie Mueller is a park ranger at Seven Islands State Birding Park where she has helped visitors of all ages enjoy and learn about the outdoors since 2018. Stephanie is an avid birder and naturalist with a wealth of knowledge about birds, wildlife, plants, and trees. She received a MS degree in Natural Resources-Wildlife Concentration from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a BS degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences from North Carolina State University. Environmental education has been a passion for Stephanie over the last 20 years and enjoys instilling in people a love and fascination of nature.
