Join us for anger management training. The course includes a manual and workbook. Tuition cost is $349. $50 increase after April 1, 2021. About the course Many counselors, social and mental health workers, law enforcement, probation officers, educators, chaplains, leaders, pastors, and health professionals are electing to become certified to train clients, groups and students in anger management skills. Those completing this course may offer anger management classes, groups, assessments, and treatment - awarding certificates to individuals required to complete anger management programs. You'll learn how to: Build emotional awareness skillsPrevent impulsive reactions by understanding how anger manifestsCalming techniquesRestructure anger-inflaming thoughts and beliefsManage stress and emotional tensionCommunicate with others in a way that improves situations (Fighting Fair)Appropriately release anger energy so it doesn't build up within the bodyThe course meets the qualifications for 14 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Covenant Behavioral Health is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for Anger Management. Covenant Behavioral Health maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content. CANCELATION POLICY Participants may receive a full refund if canceling within 14 days of the course date. Participants may receive credit for a course for another date or 75% refund of tuition by check within 30 days if canceling within 7 days. GRIEVANCES POLICY Grievances will be addressed promptly within a 24-hour time period. Responses will be provided through email for documentation purposes or in-person/ over the phone if appropriate to address immediate concerns.
