PITTSBURGH, PA — Giant Eagle's coronavirus clinic at Heinz Field will be extended to March 8 and 9, with appointments becoming available Friday afternoon. Pennsylvania Phase 1A residents can register online here. Pennsylvania currently is in Phase 1A of the vaccine program. Those eligible to be vaccinated include people in long-term care facilities, health care personnel, people over 65, people aged 16-64 with high-risk medical conditions and teachers. More than 4,000 people received their first dose of the vaccine at Heinz Field this week. The clinic is a joint effort between Giant Eagle and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
