Sprouts Market To Open In Menifee

MENIFEE, CA — Southwest Riverside County is getting another Sprouts Farmers Market, and Menifee was the city selected for the new store, the company confirmed Friday. The region has three Sprouts locations, two in Temecula and one in Hemet, and the company said the new Menifee store near Newport and Sherman roads. The market will open in 2021, according to the Phoenix, Ariz.-based company, but details on an exact date were unavailable. Sprouts markets are best known for their open layout, with fresh produce at the heart of the stores. The Menifee opening is part of a Sprouts expansion that includes 20 new 2021 locations across the country, including a store in Orange County's Garden Grove, as well as stores in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Nevada and Texas. Sprouts will also open two new local produce distribution centers this year, one in Aurora, Colo. this month and another in Orlando, Fla. later in 2021. "The new centers will drive supply chain efficiencies by positioning stores within 250 miles of the centers," according to the company. Sprouts currently operates 362 stores in 23 states. More locations are expected in 2022, according to the company.
