KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The King of Prussia CVS is among dozens of new CVS locations around the state which will now administer the vaccine, the company announced Friday.
The number of CVS pharmacies taking appointments for qualifying individuals in Pennsylvania is now 75, up from just six since the company began giving shots in the state.
Like most of these new locations, the local CVS is "fully booked" as of Friday, per the CVS site. However, CVS notes that "availability can change quickly based on demand."
Patients are encouraged to check back on the siteas more appointments become available.
In Pennsylvania, people currently eligible for the vaccine in the 1A category include those age 65 or over, health care personnel, people with high-risk conditions and long-term care facility residents and staff.
Nearby, CVS also will be giving vaccinations in Abington, Cheltenham, Horsham, and Plymouth Meeting, the company announced Friday.
