A children's book launch that is totally unique! Join author Aubrey Betz for a book reading, musical performance, and butterfly education!
At this one-of-a-kind event, local author Aubrey Betz will read her new children's book 'Alex and the Butterflies', followed by a book signing, and a musical performance of the original song 'I Can Do Big Things' by local musician Hannah McDonald.
The Missouri Department of Conservation will be on-site to educate attendees about native Missouri butterflies and potentially even a butterfly release! Enjoy specially crafted mocktails named for characters in the book which will be available for purchase on-site.
Coloring pages and other unique activities will be available on-site, as well as free bundtinis from Nothing Bundt Cakes!
No outside food or drink is allowed. Please present your ticket at the door for entry. Copies of 'Alex and the Butterflies' will be available for purchase, as well as an 'Alex' doll, stickers, copies of the song 'I Can Do Big Things', and lesson plans that revolve around the book. A portion of profits from this event will be donated to Webster Groves based nonprofit, The Mighty Oakes Heart Foundation.
This event is perfect for all kids, but your littles aged 3 to 8 will particularly love this original experience!
