Press release from the City of Golden Valley: March 4, 2021 Golden Valley Boards and Commissions are advisory bodies to the City Council, charged with the responsibility of researching, reviewing, and making recommendations on related issues. Currently, more than 55 Golden Valley residents volunteer their time to serve the community. In a world where people can volunteer anywhere, we asked "Why for the City of Golden Valley?" Ron Blum, Planning Commission "I serve on the Planning Commission because it is interesting, significant, and a great public service. What we do on commissions and boards helps to shape our community for years to come."
