KANE COUNTY, IL — Kane County reached a new milestone in its push to vaccinate more than a half-million residents, with the county on pace to administer its 100,000th dose of the coronavirus vaccine Thursday. More than 99,000 doses had been administered in Kane County by Wednesday, according to statistics from the Illinois Department of Public Health. With Kane County giving out an average of more than 2,500 doses daily for the past week, it is all but certain to pass the 100,000-dose barrier Thursday.
