Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Friday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District. The seven-day rolling average of added cases in the Northeast Health District declined with the addition of 91 COVID-19 cases.The seven-day rolling average of added confirmed COVID-19 deaths increased with the addition of four deaths.The rolling average of added cases fell in Oconee County but was unchanged in Clarke County.Area hospitals reported a drop of 10 in the number of COVID-19 patients.Oconee County Schools reported an increase in the number of Active Cases and Active Quarantines.The first doses of the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine have shipped to the state, the Georgia Department of Public Health reports.For details and for state comparisons, please click through to Oconee County Observations.
