Full Job Description Pleatco Filtration, a growing manufacturing company headquartered in Louisville Kentucky, is searching for an experienced Material Handler with a “can do” attitude to join our amazing team. Overview A successful candidate will execute the work orders assigned and authorized by the Warehouse supervisor to maintain the distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; preparing orders for shipment, loading shipments on trucks. Performing cycle counts as instructed by Warehouse supervisor. Specific Responsibilities: · Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. · Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on pick orders. · Maintains a clean and safe work environment. · Use RF scanner to move inventory in/out of bins, stretch wrap product for shipment, load trucks as needed. · Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. · Willing or able to operate a sit down lift and cherry picker. Qualifications/Skills/Abilities: · Prior experience in a warehouse environment. · Ability to lift more than 30 pounds without assistance · Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time · Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of time · Willing and able to work at heights, using ladders or lifts and occasionally Saturdays.
