Description
Paddle atop stunning crystal-clear water with a white sand bottom, and tropical, canopied surroundings! Named for it's incredible water color, this tour begins near the headwaters of Rock Springs (where water flows from the underground aquifer to the surface), so this entire paddle is atop stunning crystal-clear water with a white sand bottom. Paddling upstream with fresh muscles, we’ll navigate the gentle current amongst the narrow, canopied trail, bordered by beautiful flora and fauna. If we’re quiet we’ll spot turtles, deer, birds, and the occasional otter. We’ll stop at a small beach to relax and cool off in a waist deep, emerald pool, then make our way effortlessly back, cruising with the current. We’ll finish the adventure with a bang on the local jump tree and cleanse in the swimming hole. Your ticket fee includes Kings Landing launch fee. This outdoor activity is a great way to socialize while maintaining physical distance on individual paddle crafts. Tour Duration: 3 hours Paddling Skill Level: Intermediate. Previous stand up paddleboarding experience is required as we'll be paddling against current and navigating tight turns. To schedule a Was'SUP?! Beginner's lesson before this event, please call/text Jessica at 850-445-8348. Ages 15+. Younger kids may ride along free with experienced parents. Bring/Wear: Water, sunscreen, hat, towel, sunglasses (with straps), wear something that is easy to move in and can get wet (like dry wicking workout clothes or swimwear). If you're bringing your own paddle craft, a life vest and whistle are required by law. Know how to swim and be ready to have fun! Location: Parking is located on the side of the street leading to Kings Landing entrance. First, pull all the way into Kings Landing and unload your belongings at the "unloading zone". Then exit and park as close as you can. There is a small store with snacks and drinks for purchase and two rustic restrooms - bring hand sanitizer as they usually do not stock soap.
