TPD: Two Middle School Students Arrested On Conspiracy Charges

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department has confirmed to local media that two Northridge Middle School students were arrested on Wednesday and charged with criminal conspiracy, which is a felony offense. TPD also confirmed no further arrests are expected and differed all other questions to Tuscaloosa City Schools. The identities of the suspects will not be released at this time due to their age. WBRC Fox 6 News first reported that police were called to the school Wednesday when administrators became aware of a "shooter's list" circulating among students. The television station also reported that no weapons had been recovered in the investigation as the juvenile suspects are currently being held in the Tuscaloosa County Juvenile Detention Facility.
