WORCESTER, MA — Local residents who recently reentered the community after serving a prison sentence are being invited to take free classes aimed at teaching entrepreneurship skills. Clark University professor John Dobson is offering the free 12-week course, taught in English and Spanish, through his D.Y.M.E. Institute. At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion from Clark. "We aim to provide entrepreneurs within marginalized communities access to world-class education to develop their business ideas into successful realities. We have partnered with [the Latin American Business Organization], whose mission is to increase economic prosperity and business growth for Latin and American businesses," Dobson said. There are 60 spots available divided evenly between the English and Spanish language classes. The classes will be given at CENTRO, 11 Sycamore St., and will begin on March 22. For more details, contact program coordinator Gloritza Rentas at [email protected] or (508) 615-9975.
