Recycling Retail Receiver • At least 2 to 5 years working with non-ferrous scrap • Ability to identify and grade various forms of scrap • Able to deal with different type of customers • Responsible for maintaining work area clean and organized • Ability to understand the material the comes in and out of the yard and making sure is correct and clean as much as possible, and keep inventory up to date as well as keeping daily logs • Able to get customers in and out as soon as possible • Knowledge operating forklift and lift heavy materials, as well as use forklift to route bins and the use of grinder • Able to see well and distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites. Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members. • Some understanding of steel recycling materials is a plus but not necessarily • Able to organize bins, make pallets and boxes Recycling Shipper: • Some or good Knowledge of ROM system • At least 2 to 5 years working with non-ferrous scrap. • Ability to identify and grade various forms of scrap. • Able to deal with different type of customers. • Responsible for maintaining work area clean and organized. • Ability to understand the material the comes in and out of the yard and making sure is correct and clean as much as possible, and keep inventory up to date as well as keeping daily logs • Able to get customers in and out as soon as possible. • Knowledge operating forklift and lift heavy materials, as well as use forklift to route bins and the use of grinder. • Able to see well and distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites. Work Environment: • Frequently indoors and constantly outdoors • Frequently exposed to temperatures of 90 degrees or higher • Constant exposure to chemical, fumes, smoke, and dust • Possible encounters of high noise level Physical Environment: • Sitting, standing, walking • Driving a vehicle and / or Golf cart • Speaking, hearing, seeing, reading • Distinguishing colors • Bending/kneeling, reaching, twisting, climbing General Requirements for Employment: • Pass a pre-employment drug test • Must possess or have the ability to obtain by the time of hire, a valid Arizona driver's license • Have reliable transportation • Able to work Monday thru Friday from 07:00 am to 3:30 pm, and Overtime when available, occasional Saturday. • Ability to walk, stand for long periods of time • Ability to performer the task maintaining all health, safety and environmental rules and ensure all work is done in a manner which enhance the safety of the work environment • Able to communicate effectively with all site personnel
