www.encorsolar.com Job Summary: Encor Solar is looking for an experienced Lead Solar Installer. In the Lead Solar Installer role, you will be running a crew to install and maintain solar photovoltaic systems on roof-tops and other structures. This includes (but not limited to): measuring, cutting, assembling the racking system, installing the solar modules, and any associated components of the solar system. Additionally. You will be responsible for the junior members of the crew including training and the quality of the install. Duties/Responsibilities: Communicate with customers and follow a schedule for the jobs each day. Installing all components of a residential solar system including racking and solar panels. Bending conduit and pulling wire as needed. Test systems to ensure proper operation. Maintain a clean jobsite and safe working environment. Properly use all issued personal protective equipment. Working in a safe and efficient manner. Maintaining high levels of installation quality. Troubleshooting and servicing existing solar systems. Deliver a daily report to your supervisor. Train new entry-level installers as needed. Maintain a high level of quality for every installation. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to safely use power tools and hand tools. Ability to use ladders safely. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Credentials and Experience: At least 1 year of solar installation experience required. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently. Must be able to work at height. 1, 2, and 3 story homes.
