GREAT SUMMER JOBS! Riverbank Marina is accepting applications for Seasonal Marina Dock Hands. Positions start soon and run through mid-late September. Prospective Marina Dock Hands must be available: Thursday/Friday from 4 p.m. – 2 a.m. and Saturday/Sunday from Noon – 2 a.m. Prospective Employees must be available to work ALL SHIFTS and on ALL HOLIDAYS. Riverbank Marina is located on Garden Hwy by I5, (Chevys on the River). Riverbank Marina includes 200 boat slips, 3 restaurants, 15 offices and the parking lots. Dock Hands are hired for the summer to: 1. Make sure boaters who are NOT regular tenants are not docking in tenant’s slips 2. Make sure the security gates are not being propped open 3. Empty trash cans from the docks & property, pick up trash on docks & property to keep the place clean 4. Assist tenants in docking and carrying coolers, etc. to and from their boats 5. Assist in Guest Docking and Dinner Docking 6. Make sure the Accommodation Dock doesn’t get overcrowded 7. Patrol the property to discourage vandalism and theft 8. For everyone’s safety, make sure tenants & guests follow the marina’s rules and regulations Dock Hand Pay $15.00/hour with possible increase and bonuses based on performance Applicants must: 1. Be available to work April-Sept, Thursday/Friday 4pm – 2am, Saturday/Sunday Noon – 2am, and ALL HOLIDAYS (5/5, 1st Sunday in May – Opening Boating Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, the 3rd weekend of August & Labor Day) 2. Be over 18 3. Be able to work later if needed 4. Be able to carry 75 lbs up/down stairs 5. Have reliable transportation 6. Be able to swim 7. Be able to work outside in the sun and withstand Sacramento’s hot summer days NOTE: ALL APPLICANTS MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION.
