YOUR DOING IT AT HOME AND SOME OF YOU JUST WANT FREE BIRDS! WE ARE HELPING SAVE BIRDS LIVES AND ADOPT THEM OUT! WE ALSO MAKE SURE EVERY SINGLE ONE HAS ALL VET CARE AND SHOTS REQUIRED BEFORE ADOPTING OUT AS STATED! DONT FLAG ME BECAUSE OF YOUR ACTIONS! AND YOU FAKE SANCTUARY PEOPLE DONT HAVE A VET, A BUSINESS LOCATION OR A LICENSE! WE ARE ACTUALLY LICENSED AGAIN AND SKILLED IN SAVING OR HELPING THESE BIRDS. YOU ARE NOT! IF YOU ARE MAKE YOU OWN POST STATING ALL YOUR INFO AND STOP FLAGGING MINE! WE STILL GET BIRDS EVERYDAY WEATHER YOU FLAG OR NOT THROUGH OUR BUSINESS LOCATION. BUSINESS PAGE, FACEBOOK AND OUR VOLUNTEERS! Animal Sanctuary (Glenburnie) Non-profit animal sanctuary. Licensed location in Lancaster, PA. Volunteer surrendering location in Middle river and Glenburnie. We take in birds of all kinds and adopt them out. All birds are welcome, untame, tame, exotic etc. If you can no longer care for them or whatever the reason we will accept them. No appointment necessary but, please call to make sure someone is available to take your bird when you come. We have plenty of room. You can bring your own cage or we can supply a cage. We supply everything the birds need including vetting. We send them to a vet before adopting them out to make sure they are healthy and have all shots etc. We then work on adopting them out. We do not do normal adoptions. We require all potential adoptees to do a minimum of 30 hours with the bird. We let the bird pick their potential owner. We look for a connection with the bird and potential adoptee. We do require you to fill out paperwork for surrendering your pet. No reason needed why is needed. We also require all adoptees to fill out paperwork. If they do not have prior education on owning and exotic bird we provide them education on owning a exotic bird. We also require a home visit once the bird is adopted to see where he or she is staying and how their being cared for. We travel up to 2 hours for home visits. We accept surrenders at our PA location and our volunteers location in glenburnie and Middle river as well as travel to you if need be. You are more then welcome to drop your bird off anytime no questions asked. We are trying to help the birds and previous owners as well. Some people get older and can no longer care for them etc. Many people have many different reasons. We do not question you other then their vet history and any paperwork you may have for the bird we would love to have. I don't understand why there post keep getting flagged. We are non-profit and pay for everything out of pocket including vet care. We do adopt our birds out for a fee but, with us providing all required vet care food etc we end up making no profit and we are a licensed business location! Your more then welcome to visit our location and your bird after surrendering and during surrendering if needed. If you can't reach us there call Jessica she is always available and flexible and can travel to you and bring your bird to us at our location in PA. Shes the only one who travels from PA to Maryland, Virginia, etc. We hope to hear from you soon and help you and your feathered friend!
