Landscape/Hardscape Position (Swansboro) compensation: negotiable employment type: full-time Task Contracting needs competent workers with a positive and motivated attitude. This position is responsible for completing landscape and hardscape installations with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities and Accountability: • Operation of block saws, tile/wet saw, compactor, skid loader, small track machines and other various equipment • Installation of plant material • Assist in assigned projects • Perform other related duties assigned by the landscape manager • Maintain/repair tools, equipment, and work truck • Display knowledge of installation of pavers, block products and retaining walls • Lead by example by training crew members • Interacts with clientele in order to help ensure job satisfaction • Understand and adhere to project budget of hours and materials • Ability to read blueprints, landscape plans and complete layout of project and installation • Coordinating with landscape manager on new projects to determine scope of work, equipment and material needs • Comply with all standard operating procedures and policies of Task Contracting. Position Requirements: • Highly organized • Effective time management • Ability to lift 50lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions • Highly customer focused • Willing to work long days and possibly some weekends • Have valid driver's license • Ideal candidate to have 3‐5 years installation experience in landscape construction/hardscape working with natural stone and concrete products to create patios, walls and outdoor kitchen areas. • Knowledge of industry standards for installation of pavers, segmented walls, block products and rock retaining walls.
