Acoustic Musicians at the NC Museum of Art

Meets

2110 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh NC

Description

I’m looking to meet up this and following Saturdays at the North Carolina Art Museum to jam, play acoustic instruments, sing, and, possibly, write songs. I’ve been longing for musical community since last March, and I realized that I’m not going to find it unless I step up and create it! So, bring your acoustic instrument, your creativity, a notebook and pencil, and a bottle of water on March 6 to the North Carolina Museum of Art to make music and have fun. I’ve been playing guitar, singing, and writing songs for two years, and I find that it’s usually more fun to play with others. I like Folk, Pop, and Singer-Songwriter Rock music, and although I know little about them, I enjoy Blues and Jazz. I don’t have a stone-solid plan for our time together – I’d just like to be with some other musicians, have fun, and exchange ideas and creativity! I’ll be arriving at the outdoor amphitheater near the museum buildings tomorrow (March 6) at 2:00 PM EST. I ask that we stay 6-8 feet apart while playing, and since we’ll be outside, wearing a mask will be optional. Please note that restrooms are in the museums and you will need a mask to get inside. If you have any questions, call or text me at: . See you soon, and I can’t wait to meet you and make some music!
