National Aviation services is looking for a dedicated Janitorial Supervisor with Floor Care experience for our McCarran International Airport location. Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of floor care experience, must have a valid driver's license, and must be able to pass a background check. SUMMARY: The Floor Care Technician cleans and maintains assigned areas in a sanitary, orderly and comfortable condition within the company and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling from one facility to another, by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  Sweeps, mops, scrubs, floors.  Vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.  Runs an auto scrubber and sewing machine on a daily basis.  Other floor maintenance tasks as assigned.  Possible communication with customer contacts as needed.  Uses cleaning chemicals and understands the appropriate use of each type of cleaning chemical.  Moves furniture and large equipment; for the purpose of cleaning (refrigerators; pyxis equipment; warmers; etc.), performing in depth cleaning of areas assigned.  Performs floor care duties stripping/refinishing techniques; spray buffing and burnishing.  Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.  Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk when needed.  Keeps all equipment clean and operational; maintains appropriate inventories of cleaning supplies.
