Construction Materials Testing Technician - Madison Our firm is looking for a reliable technician who would be responsible for sampling and testing of concrete, soil and asphalt from various construction projects throughout Wisconsin. They would be primarily working unassisted (after certification completion). Work will be done primarily outdoors, throughout the year, with some laboratory testing. Must be able lift 60-80 lbs unassisted and show care for equipment. We are willing to train motivated individuals. Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent required. Ability to read and understand construction plans. Good driving record and valid WI driver's license are musts. Must pass pre-employment, non-DOT drug screening. Clear and concise English communication skills both written and verbally are a must. Candidate will provide own construction appropriate clothing and footwear, safety equipment will be provided. On the Job: Work is generally Mon-Fri between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, with some Saturday and evening work when needed. He or she would be primarily working out of the Madison office, although occasionally supporting our Milwaukee branch may be necessary. Pay and benefits are based on level of experience, and job performance. Preferences: 5 years testing experience with residential and commercial construction Associates degree or higher in a civil or geotechnical related field of study Basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. HTCP Certifications. Prior DOT testing experience. Certifications in PCC-TECI and ACI Level I Nuclear density gauge safety trained Your Action: Please respond with your resume.
