The Great Alaskan Bush Company Job Description: Janitors are responsible for the general cleaning and sanitizing of our building Shift: Part-time but can lead into full time Qualifications Needed: Employer prefers to hire applicants with a high school diploma or GED. Employer prefers minimum 6 months janitor work experience but will train the right candidate Physical/Mental Abilities: • Constant standing during shift. • Frequent kneeling, bending, stooping and repetitive arm/hand movements. • Frequent lifting of 25-50 lbs. • Occasional pushing and pulling of furniture and equipment. • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors and stairs. • Clean and sanitize bathrooms. • Clean sinks, mirrors, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators • Restock supplies in bathrooms, locker room and common areas. • Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary. • Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner. • Must be able to work independently and communicate issues. • Maintain inventory by way of ordering with vendors • Check in deliveries and sign invoices Please apply through email
