Hello, I am currently looking to rehome my 7 year old Border Collie, Miko. I adopted him about 4 years ago from a humane society in San Diego. He's an amazing companion, loves hikes and off-leash adventures. He's a big cuddler and will insist on that he's a lap dog if you don't stop him. However I don't believe I can provide the same environment for him that I could back then. Now I'm working 10 hour days, I have a 2 year old daughter and another on the way so it's a struggle to give him the attention he deserves. He behaves well with small children but I know they secretly make him anxious. So a house without kids may be more fitting. Miko is a little under 40 pounds and has some social anxiety he's still overcoming. He has come a long way from when I first got him though. He's very friendly with other dogs and people. Not aggressive at all, only barks for the door. He is up to date on his rabies shot, I can give you the document. The other shots expired this past November, I just haven't had the time to get the done. So he will need those. With Miko I can provide all his treats, dog food + bin, and leashes. He's used to eating Science Diet for sensitive stomach, I've tried a lot of foods for him this seems to work the best. Maybe you'll be able to find something cheaper! Rehoming fee of $100 I prefer texting, I'm usually working.
