Hello, I own a small culinary tour company based in Queens. We won a few awards, featured in several press outlets, and have had amazing reviews. It was doing pretty well and was in the process of expanding.
Obviously, COVID changed everything and tours have been postponed since 2020. Now that things are slowly returning back to some degree of normalcy, I've decided to think about reopening in the coming months. I used to do the tours and establish restaurant tastings and partnerships, but I would like to become hands-off and focus more on marketing.
My vision is to have someone lead the food tours, establish food tastings, partnerships, basically taking over the tours.
Qualifications are as follows:
1.) NYC tour guide license
2.) Familiarity with Queens (a MAJOR plus)
3.) Comfort in leading and speaking in front of groups
4.) A fantastic storyteller with the gift of entertaining and making people laugh
5.) Be adept at thinking quickly on your feet
6.) Empathetic and highly sensitive to people’s backgrounds, cultures, and differences.
