Auto Parts Distributor is looking for a Basic Auto Mechanic to service and maintain a fleet (25 vehicles) of Chevy, Ford, Dodge, and Nissan delivery vans and light box trucks.
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Preventative maintenance including oil changes, tire rotation, brakes, tunes ups, and diagnostics.
• Keeping track of all inspections due dates and making sure vehicles will pass NY inspection.
• Must have own tools.
• Must be organized and keep a computerized log of all work done on each van or truck as well as maintain clean shop area.
• Other mechanical jobs as needed (replacing mirrors, headlights, tail lights, radiators, condensers, starters, alternators, MFS, etc.)
• Must have good references.
