Job Description Organic Turf Care Technician Pure Solutions has been providing clients with organic alternatives to pest control across Eastern Massachusetts since 2005. We are currently seeking Turf Care Technicians for our Organic Turf Care division. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for lawn/turf care and has worked in the green industry. We are looking for someone who has experience in lawn, horticulture, landscaping or turf care. Pure Solutions provides a professional and rapidly growing workplace and a valuable set of skills with opportunities for growth within the Service Team and service offerings. We are an organic lawn management company based in Weston, Ma. servicing all of Eastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod. Our program includes: Soil testing, fertilizer applications, core aeration, compost top dressing and maintenance recommendations. We do not mow, or perform weekly maintenance. Applicant will be responsible for servicing clients and documenting work. Equipment involved will be: Ride on sprayer/spreader, tank sprayer, core aerator, walk behind compost spreader. Make no mistake, this is a hands on, manual labor job. We are looking for a hard working person, who has a track record of being a team player. You will learn a lot about organic lawn care and client management. The right applicant needs to have the ability to communicate well with clients and team. Establishing relationships with clients and getting to know their property is key to growth in this company. You will learn problem solving techniques and what to look for during different times of the season. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Apply organic product to residential and commercial properties according to schedule, safety procedures, and instructions. Drive company vehicle to multiple locations throughout the day under limited supervision. Understand and discuss the scope of services provided to assists in sales to current customers and neighbors. Complete production reports, new sales forms, customer invoice forms, daily vehicle inspection report, and cancel/skip notices as required daily. Maintain vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance. Identify upserve opportunities and present additional services to existing customers based on customer needs. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Professionalism and commitment to customer service. Good physical condition. A Background in lawn, landscaping, or horticulture work Self-motivated and driven for excellence. High School diploma, GED, or six months to one year related experience. Pesticide Applicator License or Turf Applicators License preferred An ability to follow oral and written directions and to problem solve Experience plowing snow Experience driving with and backing up trailers REQUIREMENTS Valid drivers license with a good driving record Must have transportation to Weston and be punctual. References (at least 3), required at time of interview. Ability to work independently and follow directions Excellent communication skills No criminal record (background check will be done) Reliable transportation to and from work Must be able to pass a DOT Health Exam WORK ENVIRONMENT: Pure provides a friendly and professional work environment.
