Window Restoration Field Worker Busy prestigious window Restoration Company serving MA since 1997 is looking for a full/part-time restorer. If you are someone who likes old homes, history, working with your hands and figuring out how things work, this could be a good fit for you. We are looking for people who are dependable, learn quickly, are driven to constantly improve the quality of their work, and are self-motivated to get the job done well and on time. Construction or building experience is preferred but not required. You must have a valid driver's license. This is year-round work, Monday-Friday and some Saturdays. Primary Responsibilities: Working on pre 1930’s double hung windows and casement style windows. ● Using Windowrepair.com,Inc. preferred materials for repairing windows on-site. ● Maintain relationships with customers before and during field work. ● Maintaining a professional manner at all times. ● Adherence to Windowrepair.com,Inc dress code at all times in the field. ● Follow training protocols. ● Required to have a reliable car and be willing to commute, jobs are located all over Massachusetts. Qualifications & Skill Requirements: ● High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. ● Two years of general carpentry experience is preferred. ● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. ● Working knowledge of hand and power tools. ● Knowledge of wood repairs ie. (dutchmans, mortise and tenon joinery) is preferred. ● Enforce and monitor proper "Personal Protective Equipment" on job sites. ● Ability to work directly with customers and address any needs at the job site. ● Able to work as a team player. -Drug testing and background checks may be done prior to hiring. YOU MUST HAVE A COVID-19 NEGATIVE TEST RESULT WITHIN 72 HOURS OF HIRE.
