Join us for Earth Day Week as Trail Timeout and keep Colorado clean with Always Choose Adventures. Join us as we take a Trail Timeout to keep Colorado clean with the Spruce Up Colorado Program. Volunteers from Credit Union of Colorado will join ACA as we've committed to keep part of 6th avenue clean in Colorado. Roadside litter costs millions of dollars annually to control. Often, it is impossible to keep up with the trash that thoughtless people have dumped. Always Choose Adventures works to keep Colorado beautiful by picking up litter along our highway.Always Choose Adventures has adopted a Highway through the Spruce Up Colorado program and are committed to clean State Highway 6th Ave from milepost 275.12-276. Please help us keep our gorgeous state clean, and take a trail timeout with us!  PLAN: Arrive between 4:15 and 4:30PM. Start time promptly at 4:30PM. Look for the ACA Flag. Meet at the US Marine Corps Memorial. 16899 W Colfax Ave, Golden, CO 80401 You will be assigned a safety vest, trash bag and trash picker provided by ACA. These guidelines are in line with what the Governor has laid out in the past. 1. All participants must wear required PPE as usual to include face masks when within close proximity of other individuals, especially CDOT employees/ maintenance crews. 2. Non contact pickups and deliveries of supplies /trash must be set up. i.e. volunteers can pick up bags from a dropped location or the back of a truck. 3. A full list of all participants must be submitted prior to volunteering and this list must be accurate at all times for tracking purposes. 5. Small groups only - no more than 6-10 individuals.
