Singer/guitarist and bassist seeking drummer

Singer/guitarist and bassist starting a band in search of a drummer. We're in our mid-30s, and are looking for easy-going, like-minded individuals between 30ish and 40ish that we can make music with in a laid-back, ego-free environment. We both have families and full-time jobs, but would like to practice once a week or so, and eventually record and play out when the pandemic ends. We have a practice space in North Attleboro at the guitarist's house, and are currently working on about 5 songs with plenty of other ideas. The written material we have leans toward Indie/alternative/folkish but we aren't locked into any specific style. We take the pandemic pretty seriously, so practices might be virtual to start (if possible), at least to share ideas and write parts to the songs. We are both pretty competent at our instruments for the style of music that we play, and we aren't necessarily looking for pro-caliber toured-the-world music veterans, but rather people we can mesh with and share in our love of music. Not really looking to make money off of this or tour, but we definitely plan on recording, playing local shows, and having an online presence. We have some rough recordings available upon request, and we are looking forward to collaborating with other musicians to help shape the existing ideas that we have. Some of the bands we like, but not necessarily reflective of the songs that we have written: The Dear Hunter, Manchester Orchestra, Foxing, Pixies, Wilco, Islands, Foo Fighters, Death Cab For Cutie, Arctic Monkeys, Phoebe Bridgers, The XX, Tears For Fears, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, The Shins, The Decemberists.
