Shop Helpers   Summary: Temporary production and warehouse laborers are trained to handle a variety of materials to build, store and ship outgoing orders. They must be good listeners, communicators, and be able to lift to 50 pounds. Basic math ability, a keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential. In some environments, these laborers will be asked to drive forklifts and operate heavy machinery and may require certifications to do so.   Primary Responsibilities: Assist team members with tasks. Develop an understanding of the product. Adhere to quality standards. Maintain shop cleanliness. Perform other functions as required.   Additional Requirements: Candidates MUST be able to pass a 10 Panel Drug Test. Candidates MUST be able to work 40 - 60 Hours / Week Candidates be familiar with utilizing different types of Power tools. Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs. Mechanical ability and a general working knowledge. Ability to follow directions/company procedures, pay attention to detail and have good organization skills. Ability to read tape measure. Must be a self-starter and team player. Candidates must be able to Pass a Background Check.   Working Conditions: Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than six (6) hours per day. Work environment involves moderate exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment. Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises. Moderate physical activity. Once a candidate learns and performs all department responsibilities accordingly; He/She will be eligible for a raise. There is no time limit as to how often you may ask for an evaluation of your abilities. So long as you pass your evaluation, you will be granted a raise accordingly.
