Mancan Staffing is currently looking for a Scout for our Alva location. Looking for someone who is detail oriented, hardworking, and reliable. Able to work on their own. Job Description • Walk and Inspect crop for insects and disease • Use Microscope to count and identify pests • Record and input Data. Physical demands of the essential functions: • Ability to walk in sandy soil, bend and stoop. Work in outdoor environment in various weather situations including frost/freeze conditions. • Ability to carry 50 lbs. for up to 15 minutes. • May be required to lift 70 lbs. occasionally. • Capable of working long hours during time-critical periods of the production season Email resume for review or you may apply in person.
