GREY STREET is attempting to rise from the ashes. We were a full DMB tribute band 49 songs almost note-for-note several years ago, but Life got in the way and we went our ways. Its been quite a while, so we are very cold on the songs just like new members will be. Much of our song list and arrangements are the "Central Park" and "Listener Supported" concerts, and we would rent time at a cheap practice studio unless someone has a practice place. We are a long way from being at that point since the band is not complete. We have our "Dave" on TAYLOR GUITAR and he even sort of looks and sings like the real Dave, plays all 26 chords on "Crush". Have a "Boyd" on ELECTRIC VIOLIN, and a "Carter Beauford" on DRUMS. We need a "Stefan Lessard" on BASS and a "Leroi Moore" on SAXES. A "Butch Taylor" on KEYBOARDS would be awesome, but hard to find. Its a lot of figuring out and memorizing, so if you are not a Dave Matthews Band fan already, it would be a quite a challenge just like any other tribute band. The goal is to play out and have a blast.
