Summary of Position
Candidate must be able to work independently and take pride in the appearance of a professional office building. Duties include but are not limited to janitorial, deliveries, landscaping, event setup/teardown assistance and light/general maintenance.
Education/Experience/Skills
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus five years of general building/repair maintenance, general carpentry and general knowledge of local/state regulations/codes required.
Other Required Skills or Abilities
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical wiring, painting, standard practices and tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities.
• Knowledge of local and state regulations and codes.
• Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools; operate an electric hand-truck and scissor lift.
Compensation
Hours estimated at 20-40 hours per week, year-round, and requires weekend work. Open to separating janitorial from maintenance duties. May consider a full-time benefited position for ideal candidate.
Non-event week work hours will generally be Monday – Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Pay will be based on experience.
