Southpoint Self-Storage is an industry leader in self-storage for the North Bay. Founded over twenty-five years ago with just over 100 units, today we have three locations in Sonoma County with over 5,000 units. We are seeking a Full-time live on-site Facility Groundskeeper to join our team! Your job includes the opportunity to live in a spacious studio with all utilities included! You will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of a large storage facility located in Santa Rosa. Responsibilities: • Inspect and perform repairs on storage units and storage unit doors, elevator lifts. • Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, blowing leaves, collecting trash etc. • Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, insulation, weather stripping. • Maintain, service, clean and properly store equipment. • Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, public restroom upkeep etc. • Must be able to respond to afterhours open-door alarms. • Report to a maintenance manager for issues. • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. • Perform other related duties and activities as required. We are offering: • Competitive hourly rate, raised after favorable 30-day probationary period. • Up to 4hrs/week in overtime available. • A spacious upstairs studio w/washer & dryer, all utilities & cable/internet incl. (Max occupancy of 2) Available after probationary period. • Potential for monthly cash incentives, given satisfactory job performance. • Paid vacation/personal days and holidays • Medical insurance with employer funded HSA. • Fun and friendly environment Qualifications: • Previous working experience as maintenance worker, 1-2 years preferred. • Ability to bend, kneel, push, pull, lift/move up to 50lbs. • Ability to safely climb ladders and stairs. • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred. • Positive and professional demeanor • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Valid Driver's License *Employment is subject to the satisfactory results of a criminal and DMV background check.
