Do you have a crazy high energy dog that needs some manners? Does your dog need to move his paws before he can think about obedience? I'm an experienced horse owner and dog caretaker of over 19 years. I got my first dog at 8, first horse at 13 and the rest is history. I worked for horse trainers, mucked, and have cared for chickens, donkeys, cats, and a huge variety of dogs. As a paddler, mountain biker, and beach bum, I understand wanting to have your dog be part of your fun in this paradise we call home and I aim to help you achieve this goal. If your dog is crate trained, I will happily drive them to the beach or woods. If you live close enough, we will walk there or whatever local park is close by. If you don't have money for full-time training, I have a great partnership with local trainer Jayce Schattenburg. When I was facing five weeks with a one year old untrained chocolate lab that was a handful, I reached out to Jayce. You pay Jayce for weekly private sessions, I attend with you, and then I keep up the training work and integrate exercise during the week while you work. I send at least one daily text video update to show progress and I text Jayce to make sure that we are on track. If your dog simply isn’t ready for group walks with a traditional dog walking service, Jayce and I can turn your dog from pulling, barking, and reactivity into happily tired from exercise and lots of mental stimulation. I will walk dogs that aren’t in training but only if well-trained, not pulling, etc. __________________________________________ I prefer clients in the Aptos and Pleasure Point areas, but email me if you're interested and I'll see what I can make possible.
