Dear SPS Families-
"Please see information below from the Transportation Department.
Bus applications for Phase 2 are now open for students NOT currently riding a bus at stoughtontransportation.com
ANY student NOT currently riding a bus and wants to start riding the bus on April 5, MUST complete a bus application by Friday, March 12, 2021. While we will do our best to accommodate students that apply for the bus, we cannot guarantee that everyone will have a seat. Seats will be assigned based on the order applications are received. Any applications received after the March 12 deadline will be placed on a waiting list. The bus fee for students applying to ride the bus beginning on April 5 is $92.00. Payments can be made online at SchoolCafe.com, by mail or in person at the District Office – 31 Pierce St. Cash or money orders/ bank checks made payable to Stoughton Public Schools. No personal checks accepted. Based on updated DESE guidelines – Starting on April 5, students will be sitting 2 to a seat and, on some elementary buses, could be 3 to a seat (with masks and windows ajar). In order to accommodate as many students as possible, we may have to rework some of the routes. The bus stop location will not change but students may be riding a different bus and the times may change too. You will be notified if there are any changes. Thank you.
