Press release from the City of Quincy: March 3, 2021 The Quincy City Council will hold a Public Hearing, on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 7:25 PM in accordance with Governor Charles D. Baker March 10, 2020 order suspending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law, GL. C. 30A section 20, The Quincy City Council will be convening, via remote conferencing services that will air on Quincy Access Television (QATV) Channel QATV-9 Government Access in reference to a petition from National Grid for gas main location. Verizon, New England Inc. requests permission to lay and maintain underground conduits, with the wires and cables to be placed therein, under the surface of following public way:Centre St: Place one (1) four-inch (4") PVC conduit approximately 220' form existing manhole, MH212/18, located on the westerly side of Centre St extending in a southeasterly direction on Centre Street to the private property line of 480 Centre Street. This is necessary to provide new service to 480 Centre Street.
