Project / Lead Playground Installer About Us: Help start a brand-new Playground Installation business in Western Washington. Parent company has been in the playground business for many years and is looking to start a new company in this area. Our projects include playgrounds at schools and parks, safety surfacing, picnic shelters, and maintaining current playground installations. As the Lead Installer, you will be the team leader of an installation crew of 2-3 people. This role entails installing products throughout the year, coordinating and unloading freight deliveries, supervising and leading the installation of the project at the customer’s location, working with any subcontractors and offering excellent customer service. High quality work and impeccable standards are a must. A background in industries with a building or construction knowledge is necessary for proper project completion and customer interaction. You will need to be a good communicator, detail oriented, a problem solver, technology savvy, organized, a good planner, responsible, and reliable. Requirements: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction or building industry. Previous playground experience a huge plus. • Excellent communication skills- verbal, written, and body language. • An over-achieving, push the limits work ethic and attitude. • Physical fitness. (This can be strenuous work, especially in our climate, and many of these pieces are heavy and awkward to carry. You will need to have the ability to be physically active). • Ability to be flexible in hours. (Construction projects don’t fit neatly into an 8-5 day. During the busy season, some evenings, weekends, and out of town travel will be required to complete a project). • Unbending integrity (we require the highest levels of honesty and personal accountability) • Basic computer and Microsoft Office product knowledge. • A career based mentality.
