Automotive Shop Lot Attendant / Shop Porter

(Full or Part time positions) Responsibilities: • Drives vehicles to and from service areas and lot as needed • Provides customer courtesy washes as requested • Shuttle vehicles and customers on/off premises when needed • Reports dashboard lights to the Service Department • Supports the Service Department by recording customer’s name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and photographing existing vehicle damage • Cleans driveway, lot, sidewalks and takes out trash • Maintaining cleanliness of the shop and lot • Maintains a professional appearance • Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • 6-12 months of previous work experience (preferred) • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles preferred • Must have a clear, valid driver’s license and drive safely. • Comfortable working outside, amidst various weather elements • 2 references Qualifications: • Ability to follow directions • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented. • Hard worker, team player, self motivated with positive attitude • Punctual Pay and Benefits: • Starting wage $13.00/hr. • Overtime (as needed) • Uniforms • Health benefits • Paid vacation • Life Insurance • 401K
