This beautiful Whitefaced Violet mutation of a Peachfaced Lovebird is about 9 months old, and is not quite hand-tamed. She/he (gender unknown) has been getting more comfortable in the 4 weeks with me, and gladly takes millet or oat treats from my hand, but will not step up yet. She/he's a little nippy, but does not bite hard enough to draw blood. I am limited in the amount of out of cage time I can spend with him/her because of a very jealous cockatoo who throws a fit if she sees me touching the lovebird. She/he would do better in a home with more human time without a bigger bird in the room who would like to murder her/him. A home with other lovebirds would be ideal, and I would much prefer to rehome to someone with small or large parrot experience. Please contact me with any questions. Rehoming fee of $200.
