AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY Job Title: JFSMW Business Office Manager, Bilingual (English/Spanish) Work Schedule: 40 hour- Full Time Position (with Benefits) Position Description:Jewish Family Service (JFS) of Metrowest is a non-profit agency based in Framingham, Massachusetts, dedicated to Accelerating Social, Academic and Health Equity, that provides vital social, health and community services to alleviate suffering, enhance lives and support people in need. JFS is a multi-cultural, multi-linguistic organization with deep roots in both the Jewish and broader community. JFS seeks an energetic Business Office Manager, Bilingual (English/Spanish) with a customer service orientation to manage the business functions of the agency, supervise administrative staff and provide logistical and operational support to all agency departments and programs. Essential Functions of the Position: Manage plant operations, including supply inventory, equipment, vendors, cleaning services, etc.Supervise and coordinate the schedules of administrative staff.Provide support for the processing of payroll and ongoing HR functions.Provide assistance with and back up to the Finance and Development teams, diving in as needed to support seasonal initiatives including fundraising campaigns and the annual gala, volunteer engagement events and the year-end financial audit.Assist with projects and functions related to the Board of Directors.Respond to the needs of program staff, facilitating operational and administrative assistance as needed.Work with the IT team to provide technical support to staff and other stakeholders.Provide customer service to condo owners, Board members, donors, funders, community partners, volunteers, clients, and other stakeholders, responding to inquiries with respect, courtesy and diplomacy and in a timely manner.Manage agency vehicles (2), including scheduling drivers and service appointments.Ensure compliance with agency policies.The Ideal Candidate will: Seek creative and innovative ways to improve and develop personal, programmatic and overall agency performance.Be able to prioritize tasks and be committed to meeting deadlines.Cope with change and shift gears when necessary; be able to manage work duties and stress with emotional maturity.Be responsive to the needs of stakeholders and committed to representing the agency professionally.Demonstrate openness to supervision and other learning to ensure optimal job performance and client impacts.Present a positive attitude; show keen interest in all aspects of his/her work; demonstrate trust and respect of colleagues.Embrace the use of technology, ready to learn new systems; be committed to keeping systems up to date and using tools to improve operational functions and efficiency.Qualifications: Master’s degree plus 2 years post Master’s experience or Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years post Bachelor’s experience.Bilingual English/Spanish.Experience with financial functions such as payroll processing, A/R, bill paying, bookkeeping, etc.Comfortable with the use of technology, including experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Familiar with logging into online systems to manage accounts, maintaining electronic records, etc. Experience with Salesforce and/or Quickbooks a plus.3+ years supervising others.Agency Information: JFS is a Framingham, Massachusetts based non-profit agency, founded in 1979, that provides vital social, health and community services to alleviate suffering, enhance lives and support people in need.
