ATTLEBORO, MA — George Ladd led the way with 30 points for North Attleboro as he played his final game as number 33 in a Rocketeer jersey on Sunday, February 21st.
Ladd converted 14 of his 16 attempts from the free-throw line, 8 of which came within the last 1:13 of time. For the first time in the senior player's careers for N.A., they were able to upset and beat Attleboro.
Winning 5 of their past 6 games, N.A. overcame a 6 point deficit in the first half and led the entirety of the second half. Attleboro was limited to only 2 three-pointers in the second half along with only one field goal made within the first 6 minutes of the fourth quarter.
Adding on to a career night, Ladd ended the first quarter with 6 points and 3 rebounds and continued to have an impact on the game having 12 points and a steal in the third quarter.
Both teams and coaches have an immense amount of respect for each other in their local inner town rivalry and have many more matchups to come in the future.
