Just in time for spring break, kits are available for Caldwell County families with youth ages 5-18.
Families, welcome! Register and recieve one free activity kit for at-home fun this spring break.
Each kit includes activity guides with step-by-step instructions.
**Kits must be picked up at the Caldwell County Extension Center (same building as the Lenoir library branch) OR delivery can be arranged IF the household does not have transportation. Please designate this on the final question of the registration process! Registered families will be contacted on pick-up procedures after registration closes on March 25 or once kits are sold out - whichever comes first. **
Families who register are guaranteed one of the following kits and will mark which two they most prefer during registration :
Discover 4-H - This is a surprise pack and will include activities related to a variety of topics!Team D.C. - What does it mean to be a good citizen? Learn about civic engagement as a family through fun, hands-on activities.Food Science Fun - Explore food through science! Have fun in the kitchen, baking bread and performing experiments.Mars Base Camp - Take a spring break trip to space, and learn about the Red Planet! (only ages 8-14)These kits are free thanks to United Way of Caldwell County and NC 4-H Donors.
*IMPORTANT*
Please take this time to read the document below. There are three parts: liability waiver, photo release and code of conduct. You must agree to them in order for your youth to participate, but you do have the option to opt out of the photo/media release and still participate in the program!
