FLORIDA — One year ago Monday, life in Florida changed for everyone when the first coronavirus cases were confirmed in the state. During the first month of living with COVID-19, many people opted to isolate at home with loved ones to avoid catching the virus. Eventually, Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a stay-at-home order for all residents and businesses, unless they were engaged in essential services and activities, that lasted a little over a month. Even as he reopened the state in phases, restrictions on many businesses and activities, as well as concern about possibly catching the virus, meant many Floridians continued to stay home whenever possible and limited their interactions in public. One year into this global crisis, though, as the vaccine is slowly being distributed throughout the state and across the country, we want to know how your pandemic habits might have changed. Are you more comfortable going out in public? Are there certain places you avoid? Do you have plans to travel?
