Press release from the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce : Carey Gaddis 03/04/2021 The Board of Education of Carroll County will announce in public session that they will meet in closed session at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, as permitted by the Maryland Open Meetings Act, Section 3-305 (b) of the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland and Section 3-103 of the General Provision Articles of the Annotated Code of Maryland, to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, consult with legal counsel, and discuss matters related to negotiations.   The Board of Education of Carroll County will hold a Board meeting on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. Board members will be participating in the Board Room. Some staff members will be participating virtually. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the public will not be able to attend the meeting with the exception of those who wish to speak during Citizen Participation.
