Professional, experienced Entry/Maintenance Technician needed immediately! Full-time position with full benefits. Previous experience in an auto service center or oil change facility required. Automotive Lube Technician needed immediately to join our elite team at Sunset Chevrolet, a proud member of the Sunset Automotive Group family of dealerships. Sunset Automotive Group is southwest Florida's largest automotive group with 18 franchises at 13 locations in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Monday through Friday and every 3rd Saturday. No late nights. Closed Sundays. $13/hr minimum starting pay. Apply in person or online. Automotive Maintenance Technician Duties This is an entry-level technician position where some basic skills are required. Company-paid training will be provided. Applicants with previous automotive service experience and certifications are encouraged to apply. Perform lube, oil and filter changes efficiently and accurately Perform other routine auto maintenance and repair including tire rotation and replacements, fluid flushes, air and other filter replacement, etc. Perform vehicle inspection and note vehicle maintenance and repair concerns Perform work as outlined on repair order in accordance with dealership and factory standards Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Complete required manufacturer training to become certified GM technician Automotive Lube and Tire Technician Requirements Must be able to work Monday - Saturday (Up to 6 days a week) Automotive Schooling and/or ASE Certifications preferred.
