A multi-day training course for nonprofit HR professionals and leaders designed to help you strengthen your organization. Return, Rebuild and ReengageFour ½-day interactive training classes that will include instruction, small-group exercises and discussion in an open learning environment where everyone is encouraged to share best practices, challenges and questions to help strengthen your personal HR knowledge and expertise. Day One – Return – February 16. Day One will focus on ensuring that you provide a safe, healthy and comfortable work environment for your teams. We will address issues such as: bringing employees back from furlough/layoff; the rollout of the coronavirus vaccine; the latest CDC guidance related to quarantine and isolation; balancing remote vs. in-person work; and ensuring that your workspaces are compliant with federal, state and local requirements. Day Two – Rebuild – March 16. Day Two will focus on rebuilding your teams. Topics will include: addressing worker burnout; restoring your organizational culture; external hiring vs. internal development; and reviewing compensation structures following the economic downturn. Day Three – Reengage – April 13. The focus of Day Three will be building a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiative that engages all of your employees. Topics will include: integrating your DE&I efforts into hiring, retention, rewards & recognition, performance management and professional development. Day Four – Putting it All Together – May 11. Day Four is designed to help you build an action plan to get buy-in from your senior leadership team, your Board and your external stakeholders. We will explore specific strategies for communicating your efforts, building an ongoing and sustainable effort and, how to overcome setbacks. Classes go from 8:30-noon with Registration and Breakfast from 8:00-8:30. Register for the entire series or individual classes. $250/class or $900 for the entire series per person. Cost is per organization and includes class attendance, course materials, and breakfast. This sign up will confirm your organization's attendance for the class(es). You will receive an invoice for payment separately. FAQs Do I need to pay when I register? No. When you register under "Payment Method" check "Pay by Invoice". You will receive an invoice on the first day of class. What's the refund policy? If you register for a class or classes, we will hold a seat for you and we will expect you or someone from your organization to attend. Because seats in the classes are limited and we are counting on your attendance, we cannot issue refunds, however, you may send someone else from your organization. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, we will maintain a list of everyone who registered and will use that to confirm attendance. Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Yes, you may register your organization and allow anyone in the organization to attend. Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Yes.
