This guy just wondered into the lives of some friends as a puppy about few years ago. He was terrorized by their three other older small dogs so when he grew up the grudge was already deep. They just can’t get along. He is a very sweet boy and will always have a home here. I already had five dogs. Three around his size and two little guys. He does fine with my dogs. His name is Chili. I am writing this because this dog would be perfect for a single dog home. He loves to be physically touching you as in setting in the recliner with you. Sleeping up against your chest spooning. He wants to please so training would be just a matter of persistence. He’s smart. He observers what is going on around him all of the time. He is learning being a pack member and that he is not the boss or even second in command in this home. He knows his name and responds to directions. He is house trained very dependably. He has not been work with on a leash but he does really well so far. He wasn't raised being kenneled but I have used one briefly and he didn’t seem to mind. If you are looking for a soul mate he could be the one. There is no time line to this and I will not just let him go without some of verification that he will be well cared for. Pretty sure he is chocolate lab and some pit. This guy would be up for adventures and would faithfully be by your side through just about anything. I’m old. He needs a active owner and full attention. He shows his front teeth when playing or licking at you. It’s very cute once you know its just a quirk. If you are interested please let me know.
