Historical Old Spanish Quarries Program Experience a new perspective of the Old Spanish Quarries at Anastasia State Park. Learn about the quarry's role in the construction of the famous Castillo de San Marcos and the survival of Saint Augustine. This informative program with a fun and knowledgeable ranger will bring the history of the quarry to life as you learn about the amazing work that occurred in the quarry and the architecture that influenced the history of Saint Augustine. Meet at the entrance to the Old Spanish Quarries by the park's front gate. Program is weather permitting and subject to cancellation. Program is free with regular park admission: $8.00 per vehicle- Limit 2-8 people per vehicle. $4.00 per single-occupant vehicle. $2.00 per pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
